Request for proposals are invited for Water & Sewage Services Provision The request for proposal scope aims to achieve the following deliverables: WATER • BIPORAL operates a Water Treatment Plant Serviced by 3 boreholes with production in excess of 120,000m3/hr. • Above feeds into Aeration/Sedimentation Tanks, then into three filtration lines. • Treated water via dosing pumps into overhead tanks that supply over 350 residents • A network of pipes then deliver to resident homes • System includes transfer pumps there is a backwashing system • A vendor with competence to manage this system and supply portable water at or close to WHO standards is desired of good water quality and water quantity estate wide • plant must operate to required permits and approvals • The vendor must be efficient and cost competitive and will operate and maintain the plant for BIPORAL • Maintenance of the Fire Hydrant system. SEWAGE • BIPORAL operates four sewage treatment plants in the estate, each with: • Sewage sump, Gritre Mover, Sedimentation Chamber • Bio-Reactor Chamber/Aeration, Effluent Chamber/Sanitation • Filtration vessel and associated electro-mechanical equipment • Transfer Pumps, Filtration Vessels and Motor Control Centre are parts of system plant must operate to required permits and approvals • The vendor must be efficient and cost competitive and will operate and maintain the plant for BIPORAL. Shortlisted candidates will receive a DETAILED RFP which must be submitted latest Friday, December 10, 2021.
