Tenders are invited for Recommissioning of Owena Water Treatment Plant and Construction of Water Supply Infrastructure to and within Akure City Lot 1: Works on the Water Treatment Plant comprising the rehabilitation and recommissioning of the production facilities at Owena Dam Water Treatment Plant (WTP), the restoration of its design capacity of 60,000m3/day, and the construction of staff accommodation.The works also including the upgrading of the high-lift pumping station to produce 2 730m3/h flow at 210m head, and the construction of a 36km power supply line from the power source in Akure city to the Water Treatment Plant. Lot 2: Construction of the upstream transmission mains and reservoirs comprising supply and laying of 3.2km of DN900 Ductile Iron pipe connecting the WTP to WTP Reservoir,construction of a 7000m3 concrete reservoir and access road,supply and laying of 21.1km of DN1000 ductile iron pipe connecting WTP Reservoir to Ijare Junction. Lot 3: Construction of the downstream transmission mains comprising supply and laying of 11.5km of DN700 Ductile Iron pipe connecting Ijare Junction to the South Reservoir, construction of a 7 500m3 concrete reservoir (South Reservoir) and access road; construction of 0.57km of DN300 Ductile Iron pipe connecting South Reservoir and Reservoir 2; construction of a 7,000m3reinforced concrete reservoir (Reservoir 2), and 68.3km of the distribution network in Sector 8 ranging from DN350 to DN300 (Ductile Iron) and DN250 to DN63 (HDPE).
