  • Tenders are invited for Purchase of 1 No. 650 kVA Generator for Motor transport Yard at Phase III Interested Bidders are to pay a non-refundable Tender fee of 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only in the Maritime Academy of Nigeria-s TSA account through E-TRANSZACT PLATFORM in any reputable commercial bank in Nigeria, and present teller to the Bursary Department of Maritime Academy of Nigeria for Issuance of treasury receipt and present same to the procurement staff before collection of bidding documents between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm daily. Eligibility: (i) Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission including Form CAC1.1 or CAC2 & 7; (ii) Evidence of Company-s Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2018, 2019, 2020) expiring 31 December, 2021; (iii) Evidence of Pension Clearance Certificate valid till 31 December, 2021 (iv) Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31 December, 2020; (v) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31 December, 2020; (vi) Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/12/2020 or valid Certificate issued by BPP; (vii) Sworn Affidavit: • disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the Maritime Academy of Nigeria or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars; • that none of the Directors of the company has been convicted in any court of Law for any criminal offence; • that the company is not in receivership or subject of any form of insolvency or bankrupt; (viii) Bank Reference from a reputable bank indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed; (ix) Company-s Audited Account for the last three (3) years (2018, 2019 and 2020) duly signed by ANAN/ICAN licensed Auditors. (x) Works: List of Plants/Equipment with proof of Ownership/Lease; (xi) Company-s Profile with the Curriculum Vitae of Key Staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their Academic/Professional qualifications (in case of construction: COREN, QSRBN, ARCON, CORBON etc) (xii) Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including letter of Award, Valuation Certificates, Job Completion Certificates and Photographs of Projects. (xiii) Letter of authorization to sign tender documents with Maritime Academy of Nigeria (properly executed power of Attorney or Board Resolution required); (xiv) Only companies included in the National Automotive Design and Development Council-s approved list of local manufacturers of vehicles or their authorised representatives should bid for the vehicles; (xv) For Supply of Equipment: Letter of Authorization as representative of the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs); (xvi) All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the Company/Firm-s Letter Head Paper bearing amongst others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No.), and e-mail address. The Letterhead Paper must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorised officer of the firm. Note: Bidders should submit evidence payment of non-refundable tender fee (payment receipt) of 10,000.00 (ten Thousand Naira) in their technical bid. Note: (i) Bid must be in English Language and signed by an official authorised by the bidder. (ii) Bids submitted after the deadline for submission would be returned un-opened. (iii) All cost will be borne by the bidders (iv) Presence of bidders/representatives and members of the public shall not be required during the bid opening ceremony in compliance with COVID-19 Guidelines. The Bids Opening will be covered by video recording (zoom link will be sent to bidders) with the presence of two (2) representatives of private sector professional bodies and Civil Society Organisation in the areas of Anti-Corruption/Transparency; (v) Bid documents can also be collected in soft copies and Bidders can submit through Post (Courier Services); (vi) Only pre-qualified bidders at technical evaluation will be invited at a later date for financial bids opening, while the financial bids of un-successful bidders will be returned un-opened (vii) Maritime Academy of Nigeria is not bound to prequalify any bidder and reserves the right to annul the procurement process whether Technical or Financial at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with section 28 of Public Procurement Act 2007. (viii) Ensure that you sign the bid submission register in the Procurement Department, as the Authority will not be held Liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted bids. (ix) The representatives of BPP, ICPC, EFCC, NGO, NSE, ACTU and the press will attend.
