• Expression of Interest are invited for Public Private Partnership Arrangement in Relation to Ekiti State Printing Press and Fountain Newspaper & Publishing Company. BACKGROUND FOUNTAIN HOLDINGS LIMITED (FHL) is the investment arm of Ekiti State Government and was incorporated in 2011, to take over the management of critical State Owned Enterprises (SOE) and to develop feasible, viable and profitable working relationship with private sector investors in key sectors and industries of the economy. FHL initiates, promotes and facilitates a conducive environment for investments and also offers strategic partnerships and collaborations with reputable investors for development in Ekiti State. To realize this mandate, FHL is keen on commercializing the state owned printing press to prospective investors under a Public-Private-Partnership arrangement. OVERVIEW OF EKITI STATE PRINTING PRESS AND FOUNTAIN NEWSPAPER AND PUBLISHING COMPANY The Printing Press is equipped with requisite printing equipment in a well located and bustling area of Ado Ekiti to serve the printing and publishing needs of State Ministries, Departments, Agencies and other prospective clients. The Press is supposed to engage in the production of; • Books (including exercise books) • Security documents (School Leaving Certificates, Examination Papers, and Receipts etc.) • Stationeries • Publications, Journals, Brochures, Magazines etc. • Printing of Gazettes, Hazards and other Security jobs • Other Allied Products of various Arms of Government. The facility has the following machineries • Chord 64 Printing Machine • Plate Making Machine • Folding Machine • Electronic Stitching Machine • Polar Cutting Machine • 201 Gestener Printing Machine amongst other equipment SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) Applications are hereby requested from interested Private Sector Investors with relevant business development and management experience in addition to verifiable proof of funding. Interested applicants must possess both technical and financial capability to reposition the Printing and Publishing entity to serve the State Government and general public.
