• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Promotional Video for the Virtual Deal Room Video Animation. The project comprises three main components: 1. Design and administration of a Co-Investment Fund for private sector partnerships,including a portion for partnerships in Research and Development (R&D) towards innovating and modernizing practices in Nigeria across five targeted value chains. 2. Technical assistance (TA) that directly supports, coordinates, and engages with qualifying recipients (i.e., partners and grantees) to achieve USAID-s trade and food security objectives. 3. Urgently respond to the secondary economic impacts of COVID-19, notably to (1) increase access of working capital with financial actors, 2) prevent and mitigate job losses, and 3)help respond to local and regional supply chain disruptions and shortages of critical medical supplies and services as well as for agricultural inputs and food staples. Through its co-investment fund, the Trade Hub expects to attract $400 million in new private investment. As part of this effort, the Trade Hub recently launched a Virtual Deal Room (VDR) to connect investors with businesses in the region. The VDR is a corporate data and engagement platform providing global investors, multinationals, and development institutions with an effective route to discover, shortlist, engage, and connect with African companies. This innovative platform, launched on Asoko Insight, allows global investors to access information and connect with a selection of diversified, investment-ready businesses chosen from the Trade Hub-s broader portfolio. The companies are selected based on their growth stage, geography, and industry. The companies operate in a range of sectors, including agriculture, financial services, healthcare, water and sanitation, biodiversity, ecotourism, energy, apparel, and logistics. ACTIVITY SUMMARY The Trade Hub is seeking to produce a 90-second video that will promote the VDR platform launched on Asoko Insight. The video isexpected to: 1. Promote investment in high-potential West African companies; 2. Promote the concept of co-investment partnerships; and 3. Explain what the VDR is, describe its benefits and features, and provide information on what opportunities it presents to both foreign and local investors. The Target Audience The target audience for this audio-visual promotional material; • Foreign investors (e.g., United States, Europe, Asia) • Local investors, especially those in West Africa • Media Language This production will be in English and translated into French and Portuguese. Style and Duration of video A 90-second animation/infographic video that will highlight the key objectives mentioned above. • The Trade Hub will provide the key messages for the video and produce the first draft of the script. • The Trade Hub will provide the French and Portuguese translation for the script. • The selected vendor will work closely with the communication/PPP teams to ensure the message is clear and branding and marking is applied correctly.
