  • Tenders are invited for Invitation to Tender for Production of Documentary Videos - Nigeria Nigeria SCALE is a USAID-funded 5-year project implemented by PALLADIUM in collaboration with local resource partners. The goal of the Nigeria SCALE project is to strengthen the financial, management and advocacy capacity of local civil society organizations (CSOs) and Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) in Nigeria to create a more accountable, transparent, peaceful, and democratic Nigeria with more effective and efficient public service delivery. The project is designed to enhance local civil society organizations- ability to be positive and responsible change agents in Nigeria. The project has five main components: 1) Component One - Improve CSO organizational capacity, 2) Component Two - Enhance capacity for CSO advocacy, collaboration and management, 3) Component Three - Improve the policy and regulatory environment for civil society, 4) Component Four - Countering Trafficking in Persons (CTIP), and 5) component Five - Sector strengthening and advocacy. Scope of Work and Standards The firm will be responsible for personnel management, scripting (the scripting and the storyboarding process will be done with the SCALE team), video production, logistics, equipment, quality assurance, completion and submission of quality deliverables. Furthermore, consultants will be required to provide a training to a minimum of 23 participants from 23 SCALE cluster organizations on how to produce quality videos/products on smart phones and cameras which will help with quality assurance for other video documentaries to be developed by the clusters. Please find below details of the production of the SCALE audio visual products. 16 project high level video documentaries will be produced for SCALE across the underlisted themes and with photos. The consultants are expected to deliver the underlisted products. Description of deliverable 1 Impact story video focuses on the SCALE journey, with emphasis on our approaches. 1 Video (15 mins)2 Stories of Change videos: This includes successes of current SCALE grantees that were also supported by the previous USAID-funded Strengthening Advocacy and Civic Engagement (SACE) project and component achievement highlights.5 videos spots (8 mins each) 3 Engaging success stories and beneficiary testimonies with extracts per component - e.g., sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) survivors, trafficking in persons (TiP) impact, regulatory environment impact, organizations and individuals with capacity built, cluster approach and advocacy. 10 Videos spots (5 mins each) 4 Provide between 1 day training to a minimum of 23 participants from 23 SCALE cluster organizations on how to produce quality videos/products via story boarding which will help with quality assurance for other video documentaries to be developed by the clusters. The training will use smart phones and video cameras. 23 participants trained. Report of the training. Pre-and post-training assessment, list of participants and training materials. Propose a Production schedule to include Pre-production - Two weeks (Scripting and story boarding) Production - Seven weeks (Travel to shoot locations - 10 states and production) Post-production - Four weeks Timelines Submission date and time: August 4, 2023 17:00 WAT. Clarification Timelines: Questions can be received up until July 25, 2023, 5.00 pm WAT. Response to any questions will be sent via email and posted on Palladium website after the deadline for questions. Validity Period of Proposal: minimum 90 days after the RFP deadline. Indicative timeline for issuing agreement: within 90 days of Submission date.
