• Tenders are invited for Procurement for the Rehabilitation of Yakubu Gowon Water Treatment Plant and Laminga Water Treatment Plant. Lot 1: Rehabilitation of Yakubu Gowon Water Treatment Plant: Firm tranche of works: Waterworks Raw Water Intake Rehabilitation of YGWTP Raw Water Pumps Dredging works and diversion of flood waters to avoid flooding of phase I Raw water pump house Waterworks Process, Electro-mechanical, electrical and power supply upgrade of WTP (REP) Construction of sludge discharge pipework and chambers to direct sludge from the present open outfalls to the proposed sludge bed structure; inclusive of access route and ramp, and f3encing Provision of facility for handling from the Water Treatment Plant through construction of sludge drying beds for safe disposal into the environment; Provision of filter sand storage facility for replenishing filter media lost during normal filter backwashing activities; Aesthetic civil works improvements and facelift of water treatment plant through repainting and replacement of broken building fixtures and furniture Supply of specified laboratory equipment Supply of specified mechanical workshop equipment Supply of vehicles Replacement of all Lamella plates grid in the Phase I vertical flow clarifiers Construction of 200m3 elevated steel water tank Construction of internal gravel roads (200m) Conditional tranche of works: Rehabilitation of staff houses Installation of a hybrid solar-diesel power generation at Yakubu Gowon WTP Lot 2: Rehabilitation of Laminga Water Treatment Plant Waterworks Raw Water Intake Replacement of AC pipes in the Laminga WTP raw water pipeline including valves and fitting Waterworks Process, Electro-mechanical, electrical and power supply upgrade of WTP (REP) Installation of a hybrid solar/diesel power generation in Laminga WTP Construction of sludge discharge pipework to convey sludge from the present outfall to the proposed sludge bed structure; inclusive of access route and ramp, and fencing and Provision of facility for handling from the Water Treatment Plant through construction of sludge drying beds for safe disposal into the environment; Provision of filter sand and storage facility for replenishing filter media lost during normal filter backwashing activities; Aesthetic civil works improvements and facelift of water treatment plant through repainting and replacement of broken building fixtures and furniture Provision of necessary amenities for operation and maintenance; Staff canteen; Fencing and gate (obligatory) Rehabilitation of the Laboratory at Laminga Supply of laboratory equipment Supply of specified mechanical workshop equipment Supply of vehicles Construction of a new Canteen Construction of DN 450 steel pipe from Lamingo dam to laminga WTP Construction of internal gravel roads (150m)
