• Description:
• Tenders are invited for Procurement of Industrial Salt (Mud Extender) All submissions must be accompanied with the following documents: (i) Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including form CAC 1.1 or CAC2 and CAC7; (ii) Evidence of Company-s Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years valid till December 31st 2021; (iii) Evidence of Pension Clearance Certificate from valid till December 31st 2021; (iv) Evidence of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till December 31st, 2021; (v) Evidence of with the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Clearance Certificate valid bill December 31st, 2021; (vi) Evidence of registration in the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants, and Service providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/12/2021 or valid certificate issued by BPP; (vii) Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars; (viii) Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including Letters of Awards, Valuation Certificates, Job Completion Certificates and Photographs of the projects; (ix) Company-s Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years-2018, 2019 2020; (x) Evidence of financial capability to execute the project by submission of Reference letter from a reputable commercial bank indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed; (xi) Company-s Profile with the Curriculum Vitae of the key staff to be deployed for the project including copies of their Academic /Professional Qualifications (in case of construction COREN, QSRBN, ARCON, CORBON etc.); (xii) For Supply of Equipment: Letter of Authorization as representatives of the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs); (xiii) For Joint Venture/Partnership, Memorandum of understanding (MOU) should be provided (CAC, Tax, NSITF, Compliance Certificate, Pension compliance certificate, ITF compliance certificate, IRR & Sworn Affidavit are compulsory for each JV partner); (xiv) All documents for submission must be transmitted with a covering letter/forwarding letter under the company/firm-s letter Headed Paper bearing among others, the registration Number (RC) as issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Contact Address, Telephone Number (Preferably GSM NO), and e mail address. The letter headed must bear Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the firm. Tender/bidding documents are obtainable from the office of the head of Procurement Unit, Room no 38(2nd Floor) of National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency, No 18 Rabah Road Malali Village, Kaduna with evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of N10, 000.00(Ten Thousand naira) only per Lot paid in to NSRMEA-s REMITA account in any reputable commercial bank through TSA code 12020701 and organization code 0233004001, Receipt obtainable from NSRMEA cash office. Two (2) Hard copies and 1 soft copy of tender documents (Technical and Financial) are to be submitted in two (2) sealed and separate envelopes clearly marked and enclosed in one large envelope all labeled with Project name, company-s name and Lot No. on the top left, TENDER DOCUMENTS” addressed to” The Director General/Chief Executive of National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency, Malali Village, Kaduna. Closing date and time for submission of bids documents is 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 4th August, 2021. Late submission shall be returned un-opened. All tenders are to be submitted to the Agency-s Tender Box in Room 38, Exploration House, No. 18 Rabah Road, Malali Kaduna. Only the technical bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 4th August in the Agency-s Conference Room 4th floor No. 18 Rabah Road, Malali Village, Kaduna as stated above. Note: i. All CAC, PENCOM, BPP IRR, TAX Certificate, ITF, NSITF, and any other relevant document may be referred to the relevant bodies for verification. ii. Only pre-qualified bidders will be invited at a later date for financial bids opening, while the financial bids of unsuccessful bidders will be returned un-opened. iii. Bidder should not bid for more than two (2) lots iv. The National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency reserves the right to reject any or all the submissions that do not meet up with the requirements as specified. v. This announcement is published for information purpose only and does not constitute an offer by the Agency to transact with any party for the project, nor does it constitute a commitment or obligation on the part of the Agency to procure concession services. vi. The National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested parties in connection to any response to this invitation and or the preparation or submission in response to an inquiry. vii. Bid documents can also be collected in soft copies and Bidders can submit through Post (Courier Services); viii. The National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency is not bound to pre-qualify any bidder and reserves the right to annul the selection process at any time without inquiring any liabilities and assignment on any reason thereof, in accordance with the section 28 of the PPA 2007.
