Request for proposals are invited for Micronutrient Fortification Index Launch (Event Planning and Strategic Communications Firm). SCOPE AND DELIVERABLES OF SERVICES The Consultant will carry out the following tasks to achieve the stated objectives in this TOR:  Develop a strategy and workplan for the delivery of the launch objectives.  Establish key attendees that will enhance the Launch profile and engage them for attendance.  Develop a related plan and budget for the delivery of same, including: 1. Organize a venue for a half day launch event (or virtual convening as determined by subsequent conversations with the project team) 2. Identify and contract moderator(s) to superintend the event from commencement to end 3. Design and print banners and other necessary printed materials 4. Design, print and distribute invitations 5. Arrange refreshment and lunch/or dinner for guests (estimated XX#) 6. Coordinate full media coverage and develop communication and messaging accordingly with support from project team. 7. Securing press coverage both pre- and post-event, with the latter providing details of the various relevant comments made by participants. 8. Organize a press conference during the launch with attendance and coverage by key press houses. 9. Arrange for effective pre- and post-coverage by electronic press media - including social media 10. Circulate a written press release (jointly developed with the MFI team) to articulate points made in the press conference and at the Launch. 11.
