Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Engineering, Procurement & Construction Services in Respect of The Azura-Edo IPP Gas Turbine Upgrade (Power) and Expansion (& Repowering) of Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant in Edo State in The Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Existing Facility The existing (Phase 1) OCGT facility comprises the following components: A 461MW gas-fired open cycle plant, comprising three gas turbines each with a net output at site conditions of 153.6 MW per unit. The gas turbine generator sets are SSC5-2000E and were supplied by Siemens. A gas receiving station including scrubbers, filters, metering, dew point heating units and pressure reducing equipment. A substation consisting of a 330kV electrical switchyard which is located within the boundaries of the Facility site. A 330kV connection into bays at the adjacent Benin North Substation. Borehole water supply, storage and connection. A Plant Control System (“PCS”) based on a T3000 platform and deemed suitable for expansion to allow for conversion to combined cycle operation. The PCS will be re-designed and/or adapted when the facility is converted to combined cycle.
