Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Design and Supervision of in-Pond Raceway System (Iprs). Sikiru Adetona College of Education, Science and Technology, Omu-Ajose (SACOETEC) formerly Tai Solarin College of Education (TASCE) was established in 1978 by the Ogun State Government to produce teachers for primary and secondary schools in Ogun State and Nigeria in general. The college provided facilities for study and professional training in the discipline of education and provides graduate, undergraduates, diploma and proficiency courses leading to the award of degrees, diplomas (including the Nigeria certificate in Education or its equivalents), proficiency certificates and other educational certificates. Sikiru Adetona College of Education Science and Technology, Omu-Ajose (SACOETEC), in partnership with Solidaridad West Africa (SWA) and other Consortium Partners are implementing the Aquaculture Development Project Nigeria (ADPN) in Omu-Ijebu, Ogun state of Nigeria. SACOETEC hereby wishes to commission accredited Engineering Consulting company/individuals to conduct the planning, design and construction of our proposed Demonstration farm. The demonstration facility will include Traditional Earthen Ponds and Concrete Ponds (Raceways) for demonstration of catfish and Tilapia respectively while adopting the “Climate Smart” system of aquaculture (In-Pond raceway system). All activities are expected to be in compliance with the pertinent National Legal and Administrative Instruments of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
