Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services for the Monitoring of the Implementation of Environmental and Social Management Plan (Esmp) for the Abia State Integrated Urban Infrastructure Development Project (Absiidp) - Phase 1 (Roads) The specific objectives of the assignment includes: - (i) To undertake environmental and socio-economic baseline studies and data collection and prepare a detailed pre-project situational analysis. (ii) To monitor the Implementation of the approved ESMP and RAP. (iii) To coordinate other adjoining processes involved in the compliance to the triggered OPs (iv) To undertake external evaluation on the performance of approved ESMPs and RAPs (v) To undertake capacity building. The Abia State Ministry of Works now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the Services for Implementation of Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) the communities living along the road projects. Interested consultants must provide the following information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services 1. Consultants registration certificate (brochures and company profile) 2. Description of similar assignments with evidence of award (letter of award and/or contract agreement) 3. Brief description of experience in similar conditions. 4. Availability of appropriate skills among staff. (Environmentalist, Land use analyst , Sociologist, Support staffs) 5. Evidence of working in similar regional work experience in similar fields (within Nigeria and/or Sub-Saharan Africa) 6. Consultants may constitute joint ventures of not more than three parties to enhance their chances of qualification.
