• Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services for Design and Supervision of Physical Improvement of Agrologistics Centres (Alcs) in Akwa Ibom State - Addendum The Consulting Services (“the Services”) includes; 1. planning, detailed designing and supervising the physical infrastructure component (improvement of approximately 5 to 6Nos. existing agro-logistics centers or ALCs) including internal roads and footpaths, drains, sale platforms and sheds, latrines and potable water supply systems and other facilities as required under the project and preparing procurement documents of the subprojects following GON/IDA-s guidelines which incorporates Environment, Social, Health and Safety (ESHS) measures; 2. Making available the preliminary design to the SPIU safeguards team to enable timely preparation of safeguards instruments by the SPIU; 3. Carrying out necessary site investigations and surveys, designing structural elements of cross-drainage structures (bridges/culverts) on the forward or backward linkage/roads with an emphasis on achieving cost efficiency through a careful selection of the structures types, and attention to design details; 4. Conducting stakeholder consultations in order to inform the ALC design process from technical, social, and environmental perspectives; preparing detailed designs of the ALCs, which will be based on the conceptual design prior to the design process; and help SPIU in implementing ALCs (stakeholder consultations on environmental and social aspects which shall be coordinated by the SPIU safeguard officers); The shortlisting criteria are: I. Satisfactory experience of the firm in preparation/review of standard documents such as; detailed engineering design standards, social and environmental safeguards documents, procurement support services, project management support, Construction Supervision of Physical Works and monitoring, technical Specifications of ALCs or similar projects; II. Demonstration of effective organizational/managerial structure and availability of suitably experienced and qualified key personnel relevant to the assignment. III. All interested firms are to submit the following documents; 1. Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC); 2. Evidence of Company-s current tax clearance certificate for the last three (3) years (2019, 2020 and 2021); 3. Company audited account for the last three (3) years (2019, 2020 and 2021) duly stamped; 4. Well detailed company profile with managerial and technical structure, office address and functional contact details 5. For Joint ventures, Memorandum of Understanding must be attached.
