• Description:
• Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Service for Verification Exercise for Economic Tree Compensations Bidders are to obtained tender documents from the Office of the Director Procurement at a non-refundable tender fee of N10, 000 only per Lot payable to the Federal College of Education (Technical) Bichi-s TSA in any reputable commercial bank in Nigeria. A copy of payment receipt must also be attached to financial documents. Interested contractors are requested to forward the following pre-qualification documents: a. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including form CAC1.1 or CAC2 and CAC7. Business Name is also acceptable for service; b. Evidence of Current Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) for the last three (3) years (2018, 2019 & 2020) valid till 31st December, 2021, with minimum average annual turnover of N100 million for Works; c. Evidence of current Pension Clearance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021; d. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021; e. Evidence of Compliance with National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) valid till 31st December, 2021; f. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/12/2021 or valid Certificate issued by BPP; g. A Sworn Affidavit by a Director of the company certifying that: i. None of the Director(s) of the company had ever been convicted by a Court of Law ii. None of the officer of the relevant committees of the Federal College of Education (Technical) Bichi or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars; iii. The company is not in receivership, insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings or the subject of any form of winding up petition. h. Company-s Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2018, 2019 & 2020), certified by a Chartered Accountant/Auditor. i. Comprehensive Company-s Profile indicating technical and administrative staff strength, curriculum Vitae (CVs) stating phone numbers, academic and professional qualifications including photocopies of certificates and years of experience of key personnel available for the projects. j. Reference letter from a reputable commercial bank indicating willingness to provide credit facility for the execution of the project when needed; k. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three similar jobs executed in the last five years including letters of Awards, Valuation Certificate, Job Completion Certificates and photographs of the projects. l. List of plants/equipment with proof of ownership/lease; m. Services: evidence of firm-s current registration with the relevant regulatory professional body(ies); n. For Joint Venture/Partnership, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) should be provided (CAC, Tax Clearance Certificate, Pension Clearance Certificate, ITF Compliance Certificate, NSITF Clearance Certificate, IRR & Sworn Affidavit are compulsory for each JV partner); o. All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the Company/Firm-s Letter Head paper bearing among others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No.) and e-mail address. The letter head paper must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the Authorized officer of the firm. Additional Information: a. All enquiries (not submission) should be directed to the Director Procurement; b. Bids submitted after the deadline for submission would be rejected and returned unopened; c. Presence of bidders/representatives and members of the public shall not be required during the bid opening ceremony in compliance with COVID-19 Guidelines. The Bids Opening will be covered by video recording (link will be sent to bidders) with the presence of two (2) representatives of private sector professional bodies and Civil Society Organisation in the areas of Anti-Corruption/Transparency and shall be made available to bidders upon request; d. Bid documents can also be collected in soft copies and Bidders can submit through Post (Courier Services); e. Works: Only pre-qualified bidders at technical evaluation will be invited at a later date for financial bids opening, while the financial bids of un-successful bidders will be returned un-opened; f. Service: Only shortlisted firms will be invited for collection of Request for Proposals (RfPs); g. The College is not bound to pre-qualify/ shortlist any bidder and reserves the right to f annul the process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act, 2007.
