Description:
The International Labour Organization (ILO) seeks to engage a qualified consultant to conduct a comprehensive assessment of Nigeria's social protection Management Information System (MIS). The objective of the consultancy is to assess the current architecture, functionality, interoperability, and governance of the social protection MIS, identify key gaps and challenges, and propose actionable recommendations for strengthening and integrating the system to support a more inclusive, efficient, and coordinated social protection delivery.The assessment will focus on both contributory and non-contributory schemes at national and subnational levels, with particular attention to improving data governance, extending coverage to workers in the informal economy and enabling shock-responsive social protection. The outcome of the consultancy will inform the development of a strategic roadmap for enhancing the social protection MIS, aligned with ILO social protection standards and best practices.
