Dear Bidder,The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake workas an External Collaborator.Below is a summary of the work to be performed:Conduct a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of Nigeria-s Labour MarketInformation System (LMIS), examining data production, institutional arrangements,governance, and system sustainability. This will involve reviewing existing labourmarket statistics, mapping institutions involved in data collection and analysis, andevaluating current mechanisms, surveys, and databases against internationalstandards. The consultant will assess alignment of national practices with globaldefinitions and classifications, analyse institutional sustainability and financingarrangements, and evaluate data governance, including legal mandates, datasharingagreements, confidentiality safeguards, and accountability mechanisms.Based on these analyses, a prioritized roadmap for LMIS strengthening will bedeveloped, outlining short-, medium-, and long-term actions, sequencing, capacitydevelopment, financing, and risk mitigation.
